Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain implications for future research directions by finding out research trends in journals related to authority in the field of education. To this end, we extracted the key words from 101 papers related ‘education’ and ‘authority’ published in the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) from 2000 to recent days, and conducted analysis of research trends by research themes, period, journal, and word cloud, Semantic network analysis. As a result, the research themes were classified into 5 main themes and authority was the most. As for the analysis by time period and journals, about 5 journals have studied in various journals each year steadily. 291 key words were extracted from 101 papers, and 26 key words were finally analyzed through filtration. The key word ‘teacher’s authority’ showed the highest frequency. And as a result of analyzing the centrality index, the keywords – teacher’s authority, the concept of authority, teacher’s rights, and the education rights-, showed high value in the degree centrality. The keywords – teacher’s authority, the concept of authority, parental authority, and moral education, showed high value in the betweenness centrality. Teacher’s rights, teacher’s authority, infringement of teacher’s rights, and protection of teacher’s rights showed high value in the eigenvector centrality. The main subject of the study was the authority of teachers and parents, who are the subjects of education. In addition, various concepts such as teacher’s rights, teacher’s authority, education rights are unified, and studies are being actively conducted on ways to protect the actual teacher’s authority. Based on the results, this study suggested a way forward for the future of research on authority of the education.
